Sun Moon

Sun Moon is a small vegetarian bakery & restaurant, where you could see the whole procces of bread making in front of you. We use a stonemill to ground the flour for the breads and all natural ingridients for our dishes. Respect to all & nature.

A forgotten experience, which comes back to life in the Sun Moon reality.

Why a stone mill?

Since ancient times people have ground grains to flour, seeds to oils, using two stones. Not so long ago every household use to own a small stone mill, which played an important role into the preparation of wholegrain food for the family. Later on (18-19 century) motor and rolling mills have appeared. Due to the mass mechanization, people have learned to sift out the whole grain flour and to use only the white flour. However the process of white flour production is connected with the loss of important grain elements, like germ, bran and many others. Instead of using it for our food the big corporations are giving it to pigs, cows and other innocent animals.

The leftovers so called contain vitamins, minerals, fiber, enzymes and other micro elements, created from the nature and perfect for our bodies.

At Sun Moon we believe, that it is possible to transfer the virtues of our forefathers in our overwhelmed with mechanization and overconsumption world and to change it. Have a better life. Eating whole grain foods of full value is equvalent to having harmonious attitude towards everything.

At our whole grain restaurant we cook with natural ingridients only. We care to know the people who grow our products, and other details concerning their profit of it. A very important thing is the value of things in the material world today. Which is run mostly on petrol.

As well for the vegetables and fruits, which we put on the plates, we try our best to be grown naturally, without modern additievs and chemicals. Trying to stay in touch with the nature cycles - seasons, the Sun and the Moon ... you know.
